Biography
Noelle O’Keeffe grew up in the countryside in Co. Westmeath. She is a graduate of the National College of Art and Design, Dublin.
She has exhibited widely, including shows in the Solomon Gallery Dublin from 1992 to 2000, Midlands Arts Resource Centre Mullingar, the Hallward Gallery, Dublin, regularly since graduation at the RHA Annual Exhibition in Dublin and recently in the RUA. She has participated in Boyle Arts festival, Claremorris Open Exhibition, Iontais Sligo, Eigse Carlow, Kilkenny Arts festival, and Wexford Opera Festival. She has also shown work in Germany, Belgium, and in the UK in the Wykeham gallery in Hampshire.
She won the print award in “Iontas” in Sligo in 1995, the same year she joined the Graphic Studio. She has taken part in various Graphic Studio Gallery exhibitions, including “A Natural Selection” in 2013, “Waterbased” and “Urbis Felicitas” in 2016, “Another bite of the Cherry” in 2017, “The Art of Home”, a collaboration with the Simon Community Ireland in 2021, the Summer Group Show 2022, and most recently in September-October 2023 a 2-person show “Where the Light Falls” with artist Julie Ann Haines.
Noelle currently lives in Dublin with her husband and son. She paints in her studio at home, as well as printmaking in the Graphic Studio workshop.
